Electrical Sensors on Retractable Seating

Hussey Seatway is leading the industry with cutting edge research and development. 

Our dealer MBM in the middle-east were tendering for a batch of 5 schools.  They had a requirement for additional safety features for the moving telescopic platforms, rather than just an audible warning siren.

Our engineers developed an electrical safety sensor for the telescopic structure which would detect the presence of a person or obstruction when the seating unit is being operated.   Therefore, this would automatically stop the system in the event of the laser signal being compromised.

As a direct result of this innovation, we were successful in securing the seating contract for the Hussey Group.
